Join us for dinner at the Flourtown Country Club to honor Springfield's own Maryellen Alviti as our Area 9 Democrat of the Year. MCDC's Area 9 consists of Springfield, Jenkintown and Cheltenham.
This is the Area 9 Committee's biggest fundraiser of the year and the proceeds are used to fund our campaign office every other year. The last office was the very popular "Obama" office on Bethlehem Pike in 2008. The Area 9 office provides a central location for all the Democratic candidates to organize canvasses, phone banks and distribute those ever popular lawn signs and is paid for from the proceeds of this event, not the campaigns. Please plan to attend.
